[FIXED] Your internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened: Windows 8.1

This is a common problem which is faced when you open certain files in Windows 7/8.1/10.

It is really irritating and most of the solutions given by Microsoft itself are not working. For instance, the solution to reset Internet Explorer settings, it fails and nothing happens.

So, the best solution that has been working for me is:

Move that file to a different directory/ location and then try to run, it will start working perfectly fine.

Keep Documents and Notes On the GO

I like to keep things as much light as possible and hence I try to keep everything on my phone. Over the time of my student life, I have tried and tested many applications to keep notes on my phone but the best ones are: Google Keep : Developed by Google itself, it is really an advantageous app. I use it to synchronize my bookmarks and notes on my phone and my laptop. It is available as an extension for Chrome for PC and as an application on Android. CamScanner : This app is available for free and with in-app purchases. I use it to scan pages into e-documents and save them as PDF. There are several other apps analogous to CamScanner like: Adobe Scan Office Lens Google Drive inbuilt scanner These apps are pretty good with their features but the convenience is not at-par when compared to CamScanner. Phones Cheaper than Android Smartphones

In India, there are some phones even cheaper than Android, such as: Feature phones from brands like Lava, Karbonn, Micromax, Nokia etc., which are only good for calling, sending important texts and enjoying music. Smart feature phones which are based on KaiOS such as Jio Phone 1,2, Nokia 8110 etc. This new OS supports 3G and 4G too, which are unavailable in traditional feature phones. Moreover, you can also watch movies, surf the internet, text over WhatsApp an FB etc. on KaiOS based phones.
